The Wrong Guy

       People always talk about the wrong guy, the wrong girl, the wrong person in general. There are always the girlish quotes stating “so many girls fall for the wrong guys, because they say all the right things.” Are people capable of deceiving? Yes.  Absolutely. But the question is… is there really that one right person? I say no. Do you realize how limiting that is? There is that one person for you, your soulmate, and there will never be anybody else like that for you. Erase this from your mind, because it is complete and utter crap. What if that person dies from a fatal incident? Or doesn’t end up being that guy you meet in the line while waiting for your Starbucks, because he decided to go to Dunkin Donuts instead? Or maybe that one you are “meant to be with” missed his stop on the subway because he was too distracted on the phone, the stop in which you were getting on and he was getting off. I think we are capable of loving absolutely anyone, given the time and the opportunity. There is something simply beautiful about everyone, so unique. Whether it be a quirky laugh, charming smile, maybe even the way a person sneezes; honestly, it’s whatever gets you going. If there was that one person, then why would we spend our time dating all the “wrong” people? “Excuse me, sorry, I’m just dating you to see if you’re the one and as soon as I find out you’re not, this relationship is over.” I believe that if people keep an open mind, they could fall for anyone. Because the truth is, beauty has all different forms. And no, I’m not stating some cheesy statement where it comes in big, small, ugly, etc. When it comes down to it, the physical appearance isn’t what makes a person beautiful. Beauty is what makes you drawn to that person. Beauty is those flaws that your significant other hates, but you love the most. Beauty is the answer to the question “why do I keep coming back?” SO. The point is to keep an open mind, because you could fall for anyone. And remember, just about anyone could fall for you.
